Example 1 — Team A wins (underdog)
Team A's odds are 2.25 decimal, 5/4 fractional, +125 American. A ৳1,000 bet returns a total of ৳2,250 if they win — ৳1,250 profit plus the ৳1,000 stake back. If they lose, ৳1,000 is gone.
Example 2 — Team B wins (favourite)
Team B's odds are 1.25 decimal, 1/4 fractional, −400 American (the minus sign indicates how much you must stake to win ৳100). A ৳1,000 bet returns a total of ৳1,250 — only ৳250 profit.
Multi bet example (3 matches)
Three selections across three separate matches — decimal odds of 1.40, 1.60 and 1.90. Combined odds: 1.40 × 1.60 × 1.90 ≈ 4.26. A ৳100 bet returns ৳426 if all three are correct. But if even one is wrong the full ৳100 is lost — a multi bet increases both the risk and the potential return.
Odds shift with wickets and overs — how live betting works
